Spinoff launched in Japan on November 25

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it has launched the simultaneous digital publication of Mengo Yokoyari‘s Scum’s Wish décor (Kuzu no Honkai décor) spinoff manga. The manga’s first chapter is now available.

The spinoff of Yokoyari’s Scum’s Wish manga launched in Square Enix‘s Monthly Big Gangan magazine on November 25. Crunchyroll describes the spinoff:

As myriad seasons make their rounds, The scars of the past turn to memories. The spinoff serial of the painful and forlorn “distorted love story” has begun!

Crunchyroll published Scum’s Wish digitally in English, and Yen Press is publishing the series in print in North America.

Yokoyari launched the manga in Square Enix‘s Big Gangan magazine in 2012, and ended it on March 25. Square Enix published the eighth and final volume on the same day.

The manga inspired both a television anime series and a live-action series, which ran in parallel last winter. Both series adapted the entire story of the manga. Amazon Prime Video streamed the anime series in Japan and abroad, including in the United States as part of its Anime Strike service.
