New backer updates for Koji Igarashi’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night are always so pleasant. The latest includes Iga interviewing composer Michiru Yamane, who has a huge résumé of amazing game music to her name, including previous Castlevania work like 1994’s incredible Castlevania: Bloodlines soundtrack and, of course, 1997’s Symphony of the Night.
See what she had to say about composing music for Bloodstained:
The team also showed off a couple new Bloodstained monsters. First up is Aello, a flying harpy:
And then there’s Gieremund, a “fast-moving, beast-type demon that attacks on all fours.”
You can also see some animation samples for each at the Kickstarter update page.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is due out in 2018.
